Dapiglutide (ZP7570) is a long-acting glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor 1R (GLP-1R)/Glucagon-like peptide-2 receptor (GLP-2R) dual agonist. Dapiglutide alleviates intestinal dysfunction in a mouse short bowel model and has anti-obesity effects[1][2][3].

Animal Model: A murine SB model of intestinal insufficiency with 40% ileocecal resection[2]
Dosage: 6 and 250 nmol/kg; daily; 3 days
Administration: Subcutaneous injection (s.c.)
Result: Improved oral glucose tolerance, shortened intestinal transit time, promoted intestinal growth, significantly increased villus height and intestinal length, and reduced fecal water loss.
Animal Model: DIO rats[3]
Dosage: 100 nmol/kg; daily; 4 weeks
Administration:
Result: Reduced weight and was more effective when combined with ZP8396.
